Bucovina is situated in north of Moldova (North-East Romania) and is known mostly due to its well-known churches (Unesco’s patrimony): Sucevita, Moldovita, Voronet, Humor, monasteries: Putna, Neamtului, Dragomirna, Stanisoarei, Suceava’s residence fortress, Gura Humorului city and the exceptional natural frame (Rarau Massif, Defileul Bistritei Valley, Moldovei Valley, Moldovitei Valley, Sucevei Valley, Dornelor Valley and the woods from Slatioara). The buildings’ architecture from the villages of Bucovina is one special, is met mostly on doors’ decoration, windows’ frame, gates, fences and wells. Other attraction of the area is keeping intact the national costumes, textiles and sewns are some realy art works very much apreciated. In Bucovina’s villages you will meet at all folk holidays the traditional atmosphere. The Bucovenian people’s hospitality is met at every step offering culinary traditional preparateds for guests (smoked cheese, smoked trout, traditional ‘mamaliga’-corn/meal with cheese and sour cream, stuffed cabbage with vine leaf etc.). In arround of these cultural values have developed in the last time the rural tourism with accent to the natural fresh products from own household. Due to the variety of the relief here exist fishing and hunting possibilities too (the biggest hunting base from the vountry). In the winter time the pistes wait the ski wishers (Dealu Negru, Runc, Barnarel Mountains’ peaks). The mineral waters are used for different therapies, especially in Dornelor and Campulung Basin. During the whole year are organized different folklore festivals with traditional customs which the guests could be meet in every season.
